To whom it may concern,
We have a home that had a dated old kitchen with 3 layers of old vinyl flooring. We hired a company to remove the vinyl as gently as possible and discovered an original hardwood floor underneath. We then searched the internet for a hardwood floor refinisher. Luckily we found Lucas from Traditional Hardwood Flooring.
There were issues with our original unfinished hardwood floor. The floor had huge water stains around the kitchen sink, dishwasher, and various parts of the kitchen. We were concerned that these stains would show when the floor was refinished. Lucas removed the stains, sanded and varnished the floor and our kitchen now looks like a new kitchen with the patina of an old original floor. The result is that we now have a completely new kitchen floor and we saved the original hardwood. It is an incredible transformation. We could not be happier with the result.
When we met Lucas, we immediately felt comfortable with him as a professional and we are completely satisfied with our refinished floor. Lucas is honest, kind, trustworthy, punctual, a great communicator, keeps his commitments, passionate about his business, and an amazing professional floor refinisher. We would definitely recommend him and hire him again for future renovations.
